Unlike most battery chargers, this charger is suitable for use on both standard AGM and Gel cell batteries. A convenient switch on the charger allows you to shift from one to the other. The 24 volt 5.0 amp XLR connector battery charger from UPG is suitable for the 17 Ah batteries or larger that are used on mobility scooters and power chairs equipped with an off-board charging female XLR socket. They use a convenient automatic shut off when the charging cycle is complete. Note that your charging time may vary depending on how depleted or drained down your battery is. Fully compatible as a replacement for model HP8204B battery charger. Automatic shut off when battery charging is complete. Charging time varies greatly with level of battery depletion.
